MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL
Petula is to perform at a concert to celebrate Quincy Jones' 75th Anniversary Celebration on July 14th, 2008 as part of the 42nd Montreux Jazz Festival. The concert will also feature such artists as Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Freda Payne and Nana Mouskouri. TROUBLE AT TOWNSEND AVAILABLE ON DVD
The Malcolm Saville Society has today released an exclusive DVD called "Treasure and Trouble" featuring two films based on Malcolm Saville's stories. 

The first is "Trouble at Townsend" (1946) which was a very early Gaumont film for Childrens Film Clubs and starred the young Petula Clark. The second film is Treasure at the Mill (1957) made by The Children's Film Foundation. The DVD also contains two short documentaries made at the orginal film locations in Hertfordshire and Essex and has ROM files with background material to the films and the books on which they were based. 

The DVD costs £15 plus £1 UK post and packing from The Malcolm Saville Society, 24 Larkswood Rise, St Albans, Herts, AL4 9JU. Cheques / postal orders payable to "The Malcolm Saville Society".

PETULA CLARK TO GUEST ON ELAINE PAIGE ON SUNDAY
Petula Clark will join EP to select her essential musicals during a guest spot on the nations favourite musical theatre radio programme. The programme will be broadcast on Easter Sunday - March 23rd between 13:00 - 14:30 on BBC Radio 2.

NEW NOVEMBER RELEASES
Due for release this November is the long anctipated DVD of Petula's 1969 TV special PORTRAIT OF PETULA. The DVD features guest stars Andy Williams, Sacha Distel and Ron Moody.

THE MUPPET SHOW - SERIES 2, featuring Petula's 1978 episode is due for release on UK Region 2 format on November 5th, 2007.

JULIE ANDREWS - AN INTIMATE BIOGRAPHY - Richard Stirling's insightful look at Julie Andrews is published in paperback form, the updated edition features brand new quotes from Petula about Julie and their early careers. All of the above are available from the usual online retailers.

WHEN ICICLES HANG BY THE WALL
SOS CHRISTMAS CONCERT
In aid of the SOS, Petula will perform at Ely Cathedral on Saturday 8th December. Other artists to appear include Nickolas Grace, David Griffin, Sylvia Syms, Christopher Timothy, June Whitfield, the Ely Cathedral Choir and a special appearance by Dame Vera Lynn. 'Petula Clark – Don't Cry For Me Argentina' is the second volume in Zone Records reissue programme of Petula's recordings for CBS in the late seventies. 

For the first time on CD her 1978 album Destiny is released with its original track sequence. Also, among the twenty tracks contained on this release are three previously unissued recordings. 

All tracks have been remastered specifically for this release. 

This picture disc release includes an 8-page colour booklet containing rare photos and detailed track-by-track liner notes.

Walt Disney Video are issuing the complete second season of The Muppet Show on DVD (Region 1) featuring Petula's episode. Petula's original episode was taped in December 1977 and broadcast the following May.
